It all started with this letter:
Hey:
It looks like Marination can now boast it’s ability to induce labor. Back in January, we met friends of ours at the West Seattle spot for a quick lunch. The next day, they went in to labor. When it was our turn to try to get labor to start, we thought, “Hm, it worked for them.” So on Saturday, August 14th, we again stopped by to grab some food. That night, my labor began. It was a long labor, but Monday night, we were able to welcome our first little guy, Beckett Grayson, in to the world.
Some might call it a coincidence, but we like to think that your awesome food played a hand in getting him started.
Thanks so much.
Jen, Jon and Beckett
So we did a little research and then got this:
Yep! Momma ate Marination on Sunday, had baby on Monday!

We were feeling really good about our mini baby boom, and then none other than “food evangelist” Angela Shen from Savor Seattle Food Tours (link: http://www.savorseattletours.com/ ) stopped by the truck, and then went into labor. From Angela:
Nothing kick starts labor like kimchi fried rice!

We’re over the moon with all of this great baby news! If this keeps up, Marination onesies might become a necessity.
