  Yes! We cater private parties. Yes! We go to special events. And Yes! We have simpler options for feeding your group including pick-up, delivery, and pre-orders. Spreading the aloha is serious business. We’re committed.

  Whether you are hosting a meeting for 20 or a reception for 150, we can offer you three options:

  1. Waterfront event venue – Marination ma kai – our new Alki Beach location with full bar and AMAZING view.
  2. Rolling street kitchen – Marination Mobile – our beloved food truck, at your service. We’ll bring the food to you!   
  3. Catering delivery – Marination Station – our Cap Hill store can deliver all your favorites

  Option 1: An Iconic Waterfront Venue in Alki

  

  We are so, so lucky to spend our working days at Marination ma kai. We have the BEST view in all of Seattle, because our view is of Seattle! Here on Alki, we’re situated on an iconic pier and gaze across the Puget Sound at the gorgeous downtown skyline, Space Needle, ferry boats, and the amazing topography that makes our hilly green city so special. In light of this, we made darn sure ma kai has huge windows inside, and an even bigger patio. 1500 sq ft to be exact! 1500 outdoor, seaside, unbeatable feet. Events can be open air, or fully tented (without blocking the view, of course!). We have a full bar, a rotating selection of Northwest beers, house-infused libations, a small but mighty wine selection, a really fun menu, and the most hospitable crew in town.  Contact us through this site or email [eat@marinationmobile.com] to learn more about renting ma kai.

  Option 2: Your Own Private Rolling Kitchen

  Big Blue is the pet name of our original moving location, Marination Mobile. She’s got quite a fan club! We’ve catered a number of fun weddings and various private events with Big Blue. There are logistical considerations (ex: we can’t take her on the ferry. We tried that once….. Once.), but for the most part it’s really easy to book her and get this happy-making kitchen-on-wheels parked outside your good times.   Your crew did a wonderful job last night! The truck showed up on time, didn’t require any involvement from us (big plus!) and started serving food right when we needed it.    Option 3: Aloha…Delivered.

  Marination Station is our first brick n’ mortar shop. It’s barely bigger than the truck, but we can crank some serious food out of there. With enough notice, we can set up a delivery for your event for up to 150 people.
