  Yes! We cater private parties. Yes! We go to special events. And Yes! We have simpler options for feeding your group including pick-up, delivery, and pre-orders. Spreading the aloha is serious business. We’re committed.

  Q: How much should I order per person?
  A: Folks typically order 3-4 items (tacos, sliders) per person if they are really trying to feed them. If you simply want a heavy app and have other food options in the mix, one item per person could suffice. For example: 100 sliders for 100 people is a solid app, but definitely won’t fill anyone up.

  Q: What are your catering/feeding a group options?
  A: We have TWO kinds of catering:
  1. Catering WITH Big Blue
  2. Catering WITHOUT Big Blue (delivery, pick-ups, Yorder.it)

  1. Catering with Big Blue:

  WE ARE NOT ABLE TO CATER WITH THE TRUCK BEFORE 4:30pm MONDAY-SATURDAY UNLESS YOUR EVENT IS SO GIGANTIC AND/OR AMAZING THAT WE’RE TEMPTED TO SUSPEND OUR REGULAR LUNCH SERVICE FOR THE DAY. IT HAPPENS, BUT IT’S RARE. PLEASE FORGIVE THE CAPS LOCK.

  To make this happen for you, we need a 25′ x 18′ flat parking space with 12′ of overhead clearance. We can’t travel more than 40 miles, and we can’t journey to any islands. Not even Bainbridge. Also, the parking space must be reasonably flat (imagine if your kitchen was slanted?!), and we can’t climb hills with more than a 30% grade. Sorry, Alpental!

  2. Catering without Big Blue:

  You have options!
  -You can Yorder.it! If your order is going to be less than $100, we strongly recommend you Yorder.it. That’s not a typo! Yorder.it is a great app for pre-ordering and pre-paying and scheduling a pick-up time. You can find the app in the iTunes app store, the Android market, or at m.Yorder.it. If you desire a pre-ordered pick-up for more than $100, read on.

  -We can deliver! Common sense rules apply. If you ask us at 10am for a noon delivery in Tacoma, that isn’t possible. If you ask us at 10am for noon lunch for 50 on Capitol Hill, well…… We could maybe pull it off.   -You can pick it up! Different from Yorder because Yorder doesn’t allow orders for more than $100. If you want to pre-order some grub and come scoop it up yourself, we are able to make most wishes come true. Email us as soon as you know your details: Eat(at)MarinationMobile.com.

  We have a minimum catering order. The final price is based on your menu selection, length and time of the event, and distance from our south Seattle home base. Email us what you’re looking for and let’s get this show on the road!
